Danielle Alpher
Development Director
Since the early 2000s, Danielle’s yoga practice has guided her toward meditation, cultivating her compassionate witness to herself. In 2022, she joined the Kwan Um School of Zen, where the shared practice of chanting became her spiritual anchor—fostering presence, clarity, and compassion. As a Dharma Teacher in Training, she continues to deepen her practice, attending retreats and supporting others on their path.
As KUZO’s Development Director, Danielle unites people and ideas to support the school’s growth. With over 20 years in global business development and a 200-hour yoga teacher certification, she combines strategic insight with an integrative perspective to foster collaboration and meaningful impact.
Based in Rhode Island with her husband and two dogs, Danielle travels in their motorhome, visiting Zen centers, national parks, and scenic landscapes. Her mission is to spread clarity, foster connection, and live fully in each moment—promoting unity and mindfulness in her work and life.
