Annie Choquette is a KUSZ Dharma Teacher and has practiced at Open Meadow Zen Center in Lexington, MA, since 2008. A retired professional healthcare administrator, she serves as a back-office administrator and is actively involved with Kwan Um Zen Online Sangha's initiatives. She was born in Seoul, Korea, and immigrated to the US in 1975. She has two grown-up children and lives with her husband, Joel, in Bedford, Massachusetts.

Learning the “Morning Bell Chant”

What’s a big dream or project you are working toward?
I began a year-long training program to become a Thinking Through Arts (TTA) coach for the education program at the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston. I would like to contribute to mentoring and coaching teachers in the Boston Public Schools. Engaging with the arts is similar to a Zen practice: it encourages you to "be in the moment.
