Nancy Brown Hedgpeth JDPSN has practiced with the Kwan Um School of Zen since 1979 and received inka in 1994. She has lived at and worked for a number of Zen centers and has sat long retreats in the US and South Korea. Nancy is a retired nurse and a contributing teacher for Kwan Um Zen Online. She lives in Waterville, Maine, from which she does most of her group practice online.

What’s something you are currently excited about?
I’m interested in permaculture and am in the midst of transforming my yard into a food forest and refuge for many forms of wildlife.
